‘The Lounge by Aman’ is a must-see and must-visit bar, lounge and fumoir with almost unrivaled city views during any time of the day, and also one of our favorite co*cktail hotspots. Part of the luxury hotel ‘Aman Tokyo’, this sky bar specializes in drinks that fuse traditional Japanese flavors in a modern, signature co*cktail menu that changes throughout the seasons. The stellar view makes up for a price tag that will make even luxury travelers’ credit cards smoulder, but the Aman is and remains one of Tokyo’s top bars to visit for travelers and locals alike.

Tip: Visit in the late afternoon to catch one of the best sunsets in town (including a view of Mount Fuji if you’re there during the cold season)

No photo can capture the stunning view that overwhelms you when you enter Sky Lounge Stellar Garden on the 33rd floor of The Prince Park Tower Hotel Tokyo. Few skybars in Tokyo take you as close to Tokyo’s magical nightscape, and perhaps it’s Stellar Garden’s unique 180 degree window view - perched in front of Tokyo Tower - that makes you feel like you are right in the middle of it all.

Be sure to take a seat at one of the window seats at sunset (having a reservation is handy here) and take in the breathtaking view as the sun sets over central Tokyo and slowly gives way to that nighttime sparkle we all love so much about the city. If you are lucky and arrive on a clear day (especially during the cold season) you might even catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji while you sip on one of the bar’s wonderfully delicous co*cktails.

While TWO ROOMS might not be atop as tall of a skyscraper as some of the other locales in this list, the views over the low-built Omotesando neighborhood however, could not make for a more beautiful evening. Especially during summer nights, TWO ROOM’s terrace is one of Tokyo’s must-go-to spots for a relaxed dinner or a late-night drink atop the roofs of Tokyo, while the inside bar boasts a solid menu of signature and classic co*cktails, perfect for a low-key glam night-out.
